Jacuzzi Cover Warranty Procedures
To ensure that your warranty claims are successfully processed, make yourself familiar with the following spa cover warranty procedures.
Jacuzzi Hot Tubs will administer the spa cover warranty. The spa cover is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials (2 years for vinyl and 3 years for PROLASTTM/PROLASTTM Extreme) from the date of installation. The cover or cover skin will be replaced at the option of Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. There is no labor reimbursement to inspect, photograph or exchange covers.
Cover claims MUST be pre-approved for warranty coverage. To obtain pre-approval, e-mail the spa serial number (or customer receipt if not the original cover), photos of the defect, and a photo of the cover’s vendor ID label to warranty@jacuzzi.com.

Warranty Exclusions
Misuse or abuse resulting in the breaking of the foam inserts (particularly standing or jumping on the cover or placing objects on top of it).
- Dragging the cover across concrete or hanging it from the handles.
- Chemical damage caused by improper maintenance or neglect.
- Failure to provide regular cleaning and maintenance of the cover skin. Please note that normal wear is also excluded such as discoloration of the underside material or fading of the vinyl skin (depending on your environment).
- Cover lifts that are installed improperly. Anything attached to the cover resulting in tears, rips or any other condition resulting in damage to the cover will not be covered under warranty. It is the responsibility of the installer to follow the cover lift’s manufacturer instructions regarding proper installation of any cover lifting device. Failure to follow these instructions will void the limited warranty for the cover.
- Damage caused by animals, vermin, weather, mold or mildew.
